The office of president was passed from Steve Levine to Tom Timmons at Wednesday evening's dinner and installation of new officers.

The meeting was opened by outgoing president Steve Levine who welcomed all to the meeting. The meeting was quickly turned over to Cantor Richard Cohn who started by open his D'Var Torah with a portion from Genesis. This was his contribution the April 1 type festivities since we are well past Genesis by this time of year.

Cantor Cohn then introduced and installed all of the new officers and board members. Upon completion of the official installation, new president Tom Timmons presented Cantor Cohn with several gifts, tokens of our appreciation of his activities with Brotherhood over the years and as a remembrance as he takes up his new assignment overseeing the training of new cantors for the Hebrew Union College, New York campus.

Dr. Richard Wasserman reminded us of ARZA (the Association of Reform Zionists of America) and the upcoming World Zionist Organization vote for ARZA to support Reform Judaism and Reform Jewish Values in Israel. The deadline for voting is April 30, 2015. You will be voting for a slate of representatives to the World Zionist Congress (WCO); Tina Wasserman is on the ARZA slate.

We then discussed the success of our blood drive from the previous weekend, the upcoming flower sale, the August Macabi Games, and other current activities. The meeting was adjoined at 7:30 p.m.
